Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Sections marked with brackets are placeholders pending finalization, they are not yet binding representations of fact. Everything else on this page reflects our actual, current practice.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers Velox's own marketing website (this site), how it collects and uses information about you as a visitor or prospective customer. It does not cover the websites, dashboards, or chatbots we build and operate for our clients: each client publishes their own privacy policy for their own site and customers, since that data belongs to them, not to us.
2. Automatic Analytics
This site uses privacy-first product analytics (page views and anonymized interaction events) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. Analytics respects your browser's Do Not Track signal, if it's on, you are not tracked. Visitors are not linked to a named profile unless you separately identify yourself (for example, by submitting the contact form). We do not run session-recording or heatmap tracking on this marketing site.
3. Information You Provide
When you submit our contact form, we collect what you type, your name, email, business name, industry, message, and which plan you're interested in, plus basic technical context attached to the submission (IP address, approximate city/country, device and browser type) so we can respond appropriately and detect spam. This information is relayed directly to our team by email to action your inquiry; we do not maintain a separate marketing database of leads on this site.
4. Spam & Abuse Prevention
Contact-form submissions are rate-limited per IP address to prevent abuse, and a hidden honeypot field filters automated bot submissions. This is the only use made of your IP address.
5. Third Parties
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site and deliver your inquiry: a global edge/CDN network, a privacy-first analytics provider, an abuse-prevention/rate-limiting provider, and a transactional email delivery provider that sends your contact-form submission to us. None of these providers are permitted to sell your information, and none receive it for advertising purposes.
6. Data Retention
Contact-form inquiries live in our team's email inbox for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation, then are deleted in the ordinary course of inbox housekeeping. Analytics events are retained by our analytics provider under their standard retention window, in aggregate/anonymized form wherever possible.
7. Your Rights
Wherever you're located, you can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, email contact@velox.dev and we'll action it promptly. If you are in the EU/UK, Mexico, or another jurisdiction with a statutory data-protection framework (GDPR, LFPDPPP/ARCO, etc.), those statutory rights apply in full; we will not ask you to prove a legal basis before honoring a deletion or access request.
8. Cookies & Local Storage
Our analytics provider sets a small amount of local browser storage to distinguish repeat visits from new ones. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or ad-retargeting pixels on this site. You can block all of this using your browser's privacy settings or an ad/tracker blocker without breaking any functionality of the site.
9. Children's Privacy
This site is directed at businesses and business owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
11. Contact
[Legal Business Name], operating as Velox (governed by the laws of [Governing Jurisdiction, TBD]). Questions about this policy or a data request? Reach us at contact@velox.dev or via our Contact page.
